Welcome to FIPR 2022 Annual Convening
October 19th to 21th
San Juan, PR
After all our island has been through during the last few years; hurricanes, earthquakes, a pandemic, and other social inequities, we believe that it’s time to share those experiences and find ourselves in other people’s stories.
In 2019, the focus was disaster recovery. In 2020, we delved into equity, diversity, inclusion (EDI) and began to remember our interconnectedness to create a more equitable world. 2021 was the year of recognizing that even though we are different, all of us share the purpose of leading social change.
This year, the importance of meaningful connection, inspiration, authentic ideas and heartfelt conversations has shaped the 2022 in-person Annual Convening. We arrive facing unprecedented challenges, embracing uncertainty and testing our tolerance for different thoughts. By leaning in to co-create the present and future of the social sector in Puerto Rico we ask:
What can we create by coming together, recognizing fear and freedom, equity and self-interest? How can we attend and support each other to create a world in which we move forward with the same vision? By Lean In and Co-Create we mean actively accepting that challenge and seeking more responsibility to address them.
We're really excited to amplify this discussion from October 19 to 21st, we hope to see you there!
