To obtain a more comprehensive analysis, a web-based review of publicly available information on federal and territorial programs and key policies that impact Latinx populations in Puerto Rico was conducted. Documents reviewed focused on existing policies in place that impact the well-being and prosperity of Latinx families and children, and included, among others: laws, regulations, and executive orders. A strategy of multiple search terms, using key socio-structural determinants of health, as well as research that may describe the context of Puerto Rico, was employed. All documents were abstracted for in-depth review and summarization, and informed the research presented. A database created in Excel was used to organize the documents that were reviewed and has been included for support.
