- Description: The purpose of this is to put more weight behind the “Queremos Sol” proposal-which proposes to maximize the use of distributed renewable energy on the island, specifically solar energy-by detailing how it would transition to such a system and demonstrating its technical feasibility, and to allow for more effective participation by the organizations behind Queremos Sol during the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau’s hearings on PREPA’s modeling results.
