Six years ago, the funders and donors’ investment to the FORWARD Puerto Rico Fund (FORWARD Fund) played a key role in contributing to Filantropía Puerto Rico’s purpose of a Puerto Rico with equal opportunities for all. Thanks to your vision and investment, the FORWARD Fund has been able to impact 111 unique community-based organizations on issues related to: transparency, data generation, emergency relief, resiliency and sustainability, energy, environment, housing, research and governance.

This fund has also made it possible to have strategic conversations with the philanthropic ecosystem to expand their impact and find solutions collectively. Over the years, we have strengthened deep-rooted relationships that allow us to leverage and align that investment, connect more directly with realities on the ground, engage in active listening, collect data and innovate together.
