ACTION SUMMARY

January 2022

"El 2023 Promete"

We started 2023 with our first members gathering and are now in the middle of our strategic planning process, which will guide our focus for the upcoming years.

Before looking into the future, we must reflect. How we see our past informs us about how we’ll see the future, and 2022 was a year of expansion for FiPR.  We saw amazing results as our network keeps growing its collective strength and leadership. We were strengthened through collective learning, sharing, and building in community with each other. We proudly share our 2022 Year in Review.

We are honored to be able to create the container for our collective to learn, share and build community with each other. Read the highlights of our key accomplishments and our efforts to build impactful social investment from last year. READ MORE

As we say in PR: “El 2023 promete”

philanthropy serving

Being a member of FiPR is about much more than just receiving services in return for their investment. It’s about investing in, and being an active participant in a vibrant interactive network that places a strong value on sharing, learning and connecting among our network colleagues. 2023 MEMBERSHIP

Our 2023 Membership process is still running! This year we keep aiming to serve as a valuable connector for funders to meet around shared interests, learn from each other, develop partnerships, and collaborate. Learn more about our membership model and our benefits here.

STRATEGIC PLANNING

We are well on our way with our Strategic Planning process for the next couple of years! On January 19th, we invited all our membership to be part of the planning process to co-create ways the FiPR network can strengthen each member, our philanthropy network, and Puerto Rico. This was a high-engagement session with opportunities for our members to share, brainstorm and learn from one another.

COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE

Calling all grantmakers in PR! Filantropía Puerto Rico is asking funders to report their 2022 Philanthropic Investments. Grantmakers need data to more effectively target resources and maximize their impact on Puerto Rico’s short and long-term prosperity. Results will be shared by March 2023.

To elevate your work as it relates to the larger field, consider submitting your grants data. The picture of who is funding what and where isn’t complete without YOU!
