Kilometro Cero is an organization dedicated to the protection of civil rights in Puerto Rico, focusing specifically on accountability, data recollection and education.

With the help of the FORWARD Fund, Kilómetro Cero was not only able to improve their organizational capacity at an administrative level, but they also expanded human resources and went from a team of three people all the way to a ten person work team. With the increased resources, they were able to create a platform for documenting civil rights violations in Puerto Rico, with the goal of promoting transparency and accountability from institutions throughout the island.
